Designing Menus That Work – For Guests and for Business
Creating effective restaurant menus is both an art and a science. Over the years, I designed and supervised the production of hundreds of menu types — for cafés, restaurants, bistros, and hotels across Slovakia. Each menu was tailored not only to fit the brand, but also to support guest navigation, staff workflow, and sales strategy.
My experience in the hospitality sector allowed me to bridge the gap between design and real-world operation. I understood what servers need during peak hours, and what guests look for when choosing their meal. I also had a strong print background, ensuring technical accuracy, cost-efficiency, and aesthetic quality.
I’m proud that my menus have been used in venues across the country — including Hotel Liptovský Dvor, where one of the most awarded chefs in Slovakia, Peter Bracho, chose our solution as the foundation of his culinary storytelling.
